About Me

I am a first generation college graduate from Texas A&M University (Gig ‘em!). I majored in University Studies-Math for Teaching and graduated in May 2024. A year and a half later, I am currently completing my master’s degree in Instructional Design online at Grand Canyon University.

I have two years of teaching experience in high school. I have taught Algebra 1, and I am now teaching seventh grade mathematics this upcoming 26-27 school year. LMS systems and educational softwares such as Google Classroom, Pear Assessment, Eduphoria, and Edcite have been utilized to track and analyze student progress in my classes.

Career Goals

I am seeking entry-level instructional designer roles based in Texas. The education sector is where I want to continue growing in my career. I ultimately want to design curriculum for a Title 1 school district, as it is my goal to give an equitable and great education to those just like me growing up.
