ADDIE Model Example

In EID-500: Introduction to Instructional Design, I had to apply the ADDIE Model to either a workplace or personal need. I selected a personal need: the need to adhere to an exercise routine and schedule as well as a meal plan. Below are the five steps of this need applied with the ADDIE Model.

(Analyze) Needs Assessment: Analyzed the specific need and completed a needs assessment. The needs assessment included a data collection plan, learner analysis, and training decisions.

(Design) Designing an Instructional Solution and Design Document: Created an initial design plan along with an alignment table that incorporates the objectives made for the need.

(Develop) Development of Instructional Content: The instructional solution created along with speaker notes.

(Implementation and Evaluation) Implementation and Reflection: Evaluation of the implementation of the instructional solution.
